The Swarm was an idea by Michael Prados to have a bunch of autonomous spheres rolling around the playa, "swarming" like flocks of birds, or schools of fish. I worked on the early stages of the project, helping to design and build the core electronics and locomotion system. I built the R/C Hamster Ball and Cyber Orb as prototypes and proof of concept for the project.
